The Orchard Hills Campus of KidsPeace was transformed into the famous Casablanca “gin joint”, Rick’s Café American for their Club Casablanca Gala. 

Guests enjoyed cocktails and sumptuous food, hand-rolled cigars and a live big-band. There was “back room” roulette, a silent auction and a raffle to benefit the children at KidsPeace.

TechniCom provided audio visual and lighting support throughout the entire event. This included a full stage sound system for an 11-piece orchestra plus stage and décor lighting. To heighten the ambiance at this event, the movie Casablanca was screened inside the main room, projected directly on to the tent ceiling for guests to easily view from any seat.

The Seventh Triennial Lehigh Valley Health Network Physician Recognition Dinner was held on Saturday, March 27th, 2010 at Bear Creek Mountain Resort.  This event highlights the careers of the Lehigh Valley’s finest physicians, with honorees in both the 25 and 50 years of service category. 

TechniCom has been providing audio visual elements to this event for at least 10 years.  These programs include two large screens with rear projection, programmable moving lights to highlight awardees, three camera men, a program announcer, and music specifically chosen for the event. 

The awards, beautiful crystal bowls, displayed in a cascade pattern on the stage, were highlighted in a dazzling fashion by white-hot spotlights.

Olympus of America chose TechniCom to provide the audio visual support for their World Wide Sales Awards at Bear Creek Mountain Resort near Allentown, PA.

TechniCom set and operated a live music sound system for a live band, stage lighting and programmable moving lights set throughout the room. Spotlights and cameras highlighted award winners on 2 large projection screens so every seat in the house had a great view!

On September 12th & 13^th 2009, Hawk Mountain celebrated their 75th Anniversary Weekend, marking 75 years of raptor conservation!

Despite a few rain drops, the weekend was an enormous success and the 75th Anniversary Dinner Program was a sold out event!  Not only was TechniCom a sponsor of this event, but also provided audio support and power distribution throughout.

On October 1st, 2009, Lehigh Carbon Community College hosted its 2nd Annual Speaker’s Series at its Schnecksville campus.  This event featured Lehigh Valley author John Grogan presenting Life Lessons from Marley and Me. 

The 2008 movie adaptation of the book Marley and Me, starring Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston, made John Grogan a household name overnight.

The 450 attendees at this event were regaled with “stories of chewed stereo speakers, destroyed mattresses and…a dog filled with crazy exuberance and always up to mischief.”

TechniCom was pleased to provide audio visual support for this heart-warming evening filled with many funny stories, a few tears and plenty of life lessons learned from John Grogan and “the world’s worst dog.”
