Every fall, the American Lung Association of the Mid-Atlantic area holds their annual fundraising gala.  Pictured above is “Thriller”, a themed event, focused on Michael Jackson’s most popular video.  The décor was replete with scary scenes, including a graveyard, an organist next to an open casket, a séance and a tarot card reader.  Attendees were treated to photos of themselves in any spooky backdrop they wanted, courtesy of green screen technology and Ryan O. Photography.  Creepy for a cause!  

TechniCom provided all audio visual support for this event, including two giant screens for magnifying presenters and their programs, specialized lighting to set the chilling tone, PLUS customized music, lighting and a special Thriller video screening to accompany the performance of a troupe of guest dancers.

For years, TechniCom has been the “Official Audio Visual Provider” of the Lehigh Valley Health Network Marathon for Via, with responsibility for audio support for the entire event. 

Locations include: Full Marathon Start at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Half Marathon Start at Main Street in Bethlehem, 5k Start at Easton Center Square, the Exchange Points (4 various locations for the relay teams) and the finish line for music, announcements and awards in Easton’s Center Square. 

Team TechniCom regularly runs this race and took first place in the overall team time division in 2009!

The St. Luke’s Half Marathon and 5k are scheduled every Spring and both races are usually at full capacity long before the race date. 

TechniCom provides AV support for activities the day before the race including the Half Marathon Expo, registration and seminars and the Pasta Party & dinner. TechniCom is not only always a sponsor, but regularly has runners in this race as well.
