Allentown Symphony Hall now offers a new concert series, Live at the Met, displayed on their new, 30 foot wide, high definition projection system, connected to a dual-dish satellite feed.  This new technology now allows Allentown Symphony Hall to expand its offerings beyond stage performances and present special shows never before available to the Lehigh Valley.

After an advance screening of Madame Butterfly at Allentown Symphony Hall, the Morning Call newpaper’s Steve Seigel reported the system had “amazing detail and glorious sound” and called the simulcasts “magic.”

Prior TechniCom work at Allentown Symphony Hall included the installation of a Professional Bose Sound System in 2006.  This system was installed in a skilled and precise manner, allowing for a vastly improved sound over the entire hall without affecting the original ornate beauty of this antique theater.

The Barrister’s Club in Allentown, PA recently underwent a $250,000 improvement project to renovate its entire facility.

Designed, provided and installed by TechniCom, the systems included top-of-the-line Bose speakers, color matched and unobtrusively placed within the woodwork flanking the stage for superior sound quality and aesthetics.  To enhance the visual impact of presentations, a large retractable rear projection screen was installed on the stage with inputs available from computer, DVD or TV from multiple locations throughout the room.

Professional quality components were introduced, such as a new DVD player, a complete set of in-house microphones (both wired and wireless), the ability to tie in outside equipment and the addition of an Assisted Listening System for hearing-impaired patrons.  Finally, a Crestron Wi-fi Touch Panel Remote Controller keeps the entire system at the touch of a button.
