Jerry Deane, CTS
Founder and President
Born George Frederick Motter IV in York, PA, he graduated from Lehigh University in 1967 with a degree in Business Management with a minor in Psychology. While in college, he took a full time job in local radio as a disk jockey, and the persona of Jerry Deane was created. Staying in the Lehigh Valley after graduation, Jerry DJ’d at The Hub at the Allentown YM/YWCA, the largest teenage dance party in the area from 1962 through 1968. He then operated the popular nightclub for young adults, The Mod Mill, until 1970. Continuing through the 1970’s, Jerry was affiliated with clubs such as The House of the Turtle in Kempton, Bill Daniel’s Rock Palace and Phase 5.
In 1979, Jerry decided to expand his inventory of electronic equipment and started the new venture, TechniCom Audio & Visual, Inc. Specializing in sound systems and installations, one of TechniCom’s first jobs was to install the disco lighting system at Dorney Park’s Castle Gardens Ballroom.
After earning his CTS certification more than a decade ago, Jerry maintains his expertise in the audio visual industry through continuing education and by keeping up with the latest technology trends. He currently lives in the scenic mountains near Jim Thorpe, PA with his wife, 2 dogs, 4 cats and 9 horses.
Tim Trego
Staging & Events Division Manager
Tim is a Lehigh Valley native and Eagle Scout who graduated from Penn State in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications (Broadcast Cable). Prior to joining the team at TechniCom, the Penn State Alum’s work experience ranged from community theaters to large Fortune 500 companies. Tim has been with TechniCom for just over 10 years and has overseen events spanning in size from a group of 15 to more than a thousand! When not in the office or traveling around the country for work or fun, Tim can be found riding around on his mountain bike or camping/tailgating at an Indy Racing League race.
Keith Wojaczyk, CTS
Rental Division Manager
After graduating from The Art Institute of Philadelphia with an Associate’s Degree in Specialized Business (Music Video Production), Keith has worked in the Audio Visual industry for 10 years, in positions ranging from hotel AV Technician to Video Production to Musical Instrument/Pro Audio Sales to his current position at TechniCom as Rental Manager. Keith has also been an InfoComm International Certified Technology Specialist since 2004.
Keith is married and resides in Palmer Township with his wife, 2 dogs and a cat. He enjoys camping, boating, fishing, playing guitar and drums, and family gatherings.
Mike Yorgey, CTS
Installation Division Manager
Mike attended Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL and graduated in 2005 with an Associate of Science in Recording Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Entertainment Business. After graduation, Mike interned at a well known recording studio while working as a Technician with TechniCom. Coming up through the ranks, Mike has progressed from Technician, to Systems Designer, to his current title, Installation Division Manager. Along the way, he has completed many courses and training seminars, such as: Lutron Advanced Product and Commissioning Training, AMX Programming, Crestron Programming, and various InfoComm courses. Mike was awarded his CTS certification from InfoComm in 2008.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys working with music and recording local bands. He also volunteers his time to his church; most recently by upgrading the sound system and adding visual display screens.
Jason Dilliard
Media Specialist, Project Manager
Jason graduated from Kutztown University with a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Media. He is also a Dale Carnegie graduate and a Graduate Assistant for the Dale Carnegie Training program. In his role with TechniCom, Jason assists with both events and installation projects.
This self-styled “media guru” enjoys being behind a camera and has become an accomplished videographer and photographer.
Jason enjoys golf, Frisbee golf and playing poker on Friday nights. He is a member of both the Macungie Band and the Marine Band of Allentown and lives in Allentown, PA with his wife and young daughter.
